About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us build the next generation of our fleet management platform. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance microservices, optimizing database queries, and ensuring the reliability of our real-time data ingestion pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable backend services using Go and Node.js.
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries for handling millions of vehicle telemetry data points daily.
- Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs for our frontend and mobile clients.
- Collaborate with data engineers to improve our data ingestion and analytics pipelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of database optimization (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
